Sam Davis
Surveyor
So Sam, where are you from? I grew up in Suffolk before moving to Newcastle for university (up the 'Toon!). I've been living in London for a while now, so it very much feels like home.
Describe your role in 3 words Forging lasting relationships
I enjoy working with such a dynamic array of asset owners and occupiers.
An office needs… to be adaptable to change. We've seen a significant shift towards less dense, amenity-rich spaces.
Favourite office space? Chancery House, of course.
25% of the building is dedicated to amenity space, with terraces on different floors, collaboration zones, and personal workout booths.
I also love Arding & Hobbs, a former department store that has retained many of its original features while adding two new CLT floors.
Best thing about your role? Working with a broad range of asset owners & occupiers with diverse requirements. This really brings out my inner problem-solver.
Top tip for any company considering a move? Communicate openly with agents or brokers. The more we know, the more we can help!
And finally, talk us through your weekend plans. My weekends usually involve football, as I'm an Ipswich Town supporter.
Experience: Master of International Real Estate and Planning / Environmental Engineering
Clients: Maurice Investments, The Crown Estate
